Packing & Shipping Tips
- Paper is NOT a packing material.
- Send the dirty clothes home and carry the antiques or extremely heavy or fragile items with you. Let's face it you just want some space in the car--and you don't want to wash the clothes anyway...right!
- Pack clothes and plush toys in plastic bags--this keeps them fresh.
- Send overseas Christmas presents in November--I know no one wants to shop that early--but it save you money and agrivation later.
- DO NOT wrap boxes in brown paper and string. These tend to get hung up in convayer belts and then you have a lost package.
- Keep the original boxes and packing for TV, Computer, bikes if you know you'll be shipping them again soon--should I repeat that for all the college freshman?
- If you are sending a package overseas DO NOT seal it before hand--you will need to know where the items were made and exactly what is in the box for the customs paper work.
- Do not send cash. I know it sounds simple but a lot of people still try it.
- Send expensive jewlery in a larger box..to mask what the contents, also sending any package air ensures it is handled less and thus safer.
- How to get the most accurate quote.
- If packaged--we need, weight, size, zip code and declared value.

Color Copy Tips
- Make color copies of old family photo's and label the people in the photo. The original won't be damaged and 20 years from now you'll still know everyone in the picture.
- Use color copies of old photo's to "cut up" for scrap books. Lets face it we love the scrap books but some pictures are way to precious to cut.
- Frame and enlarged snap shop and give it to some one with a personalized message...it makes a great inexpensive gift.
- Copies on acid free paper last longer than newpaper clippings.
- Color copies dress up any report--for school or the office.
- Making a page with a collage of pictures and then color copy and ship to friends and realitives...it is cheaper and far more personalized than getting everyone an extra print.
- Decoupage color copies onto that old trunk or box to give them new life or a personal touch. REMEMBER to coat with a polyurethane finish so it will last.

- Lamp Shades
- That ugly old coffe table on the screened in porch. A few color copies and a piece of glass and it is now a work of art.
- If you get really abitious..old recipies or color copies can become wall paper
- Just about anything you find..can you tell I watch the home and garden channel entirely too much!
Random Tips
- File your change of address about two weeks early..this helps ensure your mail arrives about the same time you do.
- Packing P-Nuts make great filler for the bottom of potted plants..no more drainage problems.
- The original makes better copies than a copy...keep an original to make copies from.
